Proud to BE – Referral Program FAQs
All new accounts must be opened in person at one of our 10 branches across Southern Idaho.
What is the Proud to BE Movement?
The Proud to BE Movement is our way of celebrating members and communities. At Connections Credit Union,
we believe every member should feel Heard, Valued, Empowered, and Home.
How does the referral program work?
When you refer a friend, family member, or coworker to join Connections Credit Union, you earn
$50 once they meet the qualifications. You can refer up to 7 new members
for a maximum of $350.
What do new members receive?
New members can earn $100 when they:
- Open a Kasasa® Checking Account
- Make 12+ debit card transactions of $5 or more
- Enroll in e-Statements
- Spend a minimum of $120 in the first two full statement cycles
Are there any extra prizes?
Referring Members: Each referral enters you into a drawing for a weekend getaway trip.
New Members: Automatically entered to win one of two gift cards at the end of the promotion.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
Yes. You can refer up to 7 new members, for a total reward of up to $350.
When will I receive my referral reward?
The $50 referral reward is deposited once the new member has met all qualifications listed above.

You can refer friends, family, coworkers—anyone looking for a financial home with Connections Credit Union.
How do I get started?
Share Connections Credit Union with someone you know and encourage them to join. Be sure they
mention your name at account opening so you can both be rewarded! All account openings
happen in-branch at one of our 10 Southern Idaho locations.
Do I need to open my account online or in person?
Accounts must be opened in person at a branch. Visit us across Southern Idaho—we’ll get you set up.
Disclaimer: Referral incentives are paid once the new member meets all qualifications. Maximum reward for referring members is $350 (7 qualified referrals). New members must open a Kasasa® Checking Account, complete 12 debit card transactions of $5 or more, enroll in e-Statements, and spend a minimum of $120 within the first two full statement cycles to qualify.
